1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
8 ounces refrigerated crescent rolls
16 thin slices smoked turkey
16 cubes co-jack cheese
powdered sugar
maple syrup or Dijon mustard
Heat oven to 375°F. Grease baking sheet. Beat egg and milk together with fork. Separate dough into 2 rectangles. Press perforations together to seal. Cut each rectangle into 8 (3x2 inch) rectangles. Fold each slice of turkey in half and place on dough. Place cheese cube in center and fold turkey around it. Wrap dough up around meat and cheese, shaping into a ball. Pinch tightly to seal. Brush top and sides with egg mixture and place on prepared baking sheet. Bake 10-14 minutes till golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm with syrup or mustard.
