1/4 package (17.25 ounce) frozen puff pastry sheets
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
1 (7 ounce) round Gouda cheese, rind removed
Heat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease baking sheet. Thaw 1 pastry sheet according to package directions. Cut in half. Wrap half back up and refrigerate for a later use. Roll out remaining half on lightly floured surface into 9 inch square. Sprinkle 1/4 cup pecans in center of square. Top with a cheese round. Sprinkle with remaining pecans. Bring corners of pastry square to center of round. Fold pastry to fit round and twist top of pastry to completely enclose cheese. Place on prepared sheet. Bake 25 minutes till puffed and golden. Serve immediately.
