Beefy Jalepeno Corn Bake

1 pound ground beef
2 eggs
1 can cream style corn
1 cup milk
1/2 cup oil
1 cup cornmeal
3 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
4 cups (16 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
1 medium onion, finely chopped
4 jalepeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x13 inch baking dish. Brown beef in skillet till no longer pink. Drain and set aside. Beat together eggs, corn, milk and oil. Combine dry ingredients. Add to egg mixture and mix well. Pour half of batter into prepared dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Top with beef, onion and jalepenos. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, top with remaining batter. Bake 55-60 minutes till toothpick inserted into corn bread comes out clean.
