Apple Walnut Crescents

Serves: 16

2 cans (8 ounces each) refrigerated cresent rolls
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
4 medium tart apples, peeled, cored, quartered
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup raisins, optional
1/4 cup melted butter

Heat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease 15x10 inch baking pan. Unroll dough and separate into triangles. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoons on each triangle. Place apple quarter on short side and roll up. Place in prepared pan. Press nuts and raisins into top of dough. Drizzle with butter and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon-sugar. Bake 20-24 minutes till golden brown. Serve warm.
