1/2 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups flour
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup chocolate ice cream topping
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts, optional
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x13 inch baking pan. Beat together butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs and beat well. Stir together flour and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture alternately with ice cream topping. Stir in chips and nuts. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 30-35 minutes till brownies begin to pull away from pan sides. Cool in pan on rack before cutting.
