German Chocolate Cupcakes

1/3 cup softened butter
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 ounces melted German's sweet chocolate
1/2 cup light buttermilk
1/2 cup plain lowfat yogurt
1 1/2 cups flour

Heat oven to 350F. Line 12 muffin tins with paper or foil liners. Beat butter, sugar, baking powder and baking soda together till well blended. Add egg and vanilla. Beat till fluffy. Beat in chocolate till blended. Beat in buttermilk. Batter will look curdled. Add flour just till blended. Spoon into prepared muffin tins. Bake for 20-25 minutes till toothpick inserted near centers comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack 5 minutes then remove cupcakes to rack to cool completely.
