2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 cups heavy whipping cream
3/4 cup light corn syrup

Grease bottom and sides of 8 or 9 inch square baking dish. In heavy 3 quart saucepan, heat all ingredients to boiling, stirring constantly. Cook 35 minutes, stirring frequently, to 245°F or to firm ball stage. Immediately spread in prepared dish. Cool 2 hours till completely cooled. Cut into 1 inch squares using scissors or sharp knife. Wrap individually in waxed paper or plastic wrap. Store in airtight container at room temperature.
