Choco-Orange Bars

Makes: 5 dozen

Crust
1 cup softened butter
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 egg yolk
1/4 cup orange juice
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Filling
4 lightly beaten eggs
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup orange juice
2 teaspoons grated orange peel
3 tablespoons flour
8 ounces semi-sweet/bittersweet chocolate, chopped
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
3 ounces semi-sweet/bittersweet chocolate

Crust
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 15x10 inch baking pan. Beat butter 30 seconds on high. Add sugar and salt and beat till combined. Add eggs and yolk, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in orange juice. Add flour and beat till combined. Stir in peel and nuts. Spread in prepared pan. Bake 15 minutes till lightly browned.
Filling
Whisk together eggs, sugar, peel, juice and flour till smooth. Stir in chocolate and nuts. Pour over hot crust. Bake 15-17 minutes till set. Cool in pan on rack. Melt remaining chocolate and drizzle over top before cutting into bars.
