Butterfinger Bars

Makes: 2 dozen

2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup corn syrup
18 ounces chunky peanut butter
3 cups corn flakes
2 cups milk chocolate chips

Heat sugar and syrup together in a heavy pan till boiling. Add peanut butter. Mix till well blended. Pour over corn flakes, coating the cereal well. Press into an ungreased 9x13 inch baking pan. Melt chocolate chips. Spread over batter. Chill for 20-25 minutes. Cut into bars.
