2 tablespoons oil (preferably from chicken frying pan)
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup milk
Heat oil, flour and seasonings together over medium-low heat about 2 minutes till thickened. If you can do this in the same pan you cooked the chicken in, so much the better. As you cook the gravy, scrape in any browned bits of chicken coating that may be left in the pan. When flour mixture is thickened, gradually whisk in broth till mixture is smooth. Add milk and increase heat to medium. Cook and stir constantly till mixture thickens and boils.
