Sage Butter for Pasta

1 tablespoon olive oil
12 whole fresh sage leaves
6 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh sage
1/2 teaspoon freshly chopped thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons freshly chopped flat leaf parsley

Heat oil in medium skillet over high heat. Add sage leaves and fry 1 minute on each side till lightly crisped. Transfer to paper towels. In same skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat, letting it brown slightly. Stir in chopped sage, thyme, salt and pepper. Pour herb butter over freshly cooked pasta and garnish with fried sage leaves. Serve immediately.
