1 cup tightly packed fresh basil leaves
1 cup tightly packed fresh parsley leaves
1-2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
Combine all ingredients in food processor or blender and puree till smooth. Refrigerate for several weeks or freeze in tightly covered container. Toss with hot cooked pasta or vegetables, spread on warm bread or use in any recipe calling for pesto.
