1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup flour
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
dash white pepper
5 cups frozen corn, thawed
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour till smooth. Gradually add cream, milk, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to boil. Boil and stir for 2 minutes. Add corn and heat through. Pour into ungreased 1 1/2 quart broiler-proof dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Broil for 3-5 minutes till lightly browned and bubbly.

Very good. Will be thicker before putting under broiler. End product will be pretty soupy.
