1 cup sliced baby carrots
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons chicken broth or water
1/2 teaspoon assorted herbs (thyme, rosemary, etc.)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Melt butter with water in saucepan over medium heat. Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix. Cover and cook over medium heat 5-9 minutes till carrots are tender, stirring occasionally.
