30 ounce can red kidney beans
1 1/2 teaspoons white pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 cups instant rice
1 1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
In large saucepan, combine beans and liquid, with next 4 ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue boiling for 15-20 minutes. While you are stirring the beans, mash some of them up so they get smooth and creamy. Do not mash all the beans. In another saucepan, cook the rice according to package directions but use the ingredients above. Pour equal amounts of beans and rice in a bowl to serve.

Pretty good. Definitely use instant rice. Other turns into gummy paste.
