12 ounces orzo
1 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup sliced almonds
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 cup butter
14.5 ounces chicken broth
1 2/3 cups water
7 ounces sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
In large skillet, saute orzo, onion, almonds and garlic in butter till orzo is golden brown. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes till orzo is tender and liquid is absorbed.
