2 cups whole milk
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup finely chopped broccoli
Melt butter and cheese together. Add broccoli, salt and pepper. Add milk, 1 cup at a time, allowing to heat up before adding more. Let simmer till broccoli is tender before serving.
